Orleans History & Interesting Facts

1. Originally recorded in Woodstock, NY, in 1990 and released first in Japan in 1991, as "Orleans Live."  In 1993 it was released in the U.S. but on separate CD's.

2. Some retailers refer to "Volume 1" as "Greatest Hits Live."

3. "Volume 1" is also the only Orleans CD to be released in DTS format.

4. "Volume 2" is virtually non existent as only 500 copies were made, to hear those songs you'd have to get the Japanese version.

5.  As noted in the "Orleans Live" section.  Bob Leinbach had returned to the band during the "Grown Up Children" LP, and drummer Peter O'brien joined the band in approximately 1988.  This lineup of Orleans would remain consistent thru approximately 2000.  (Lance)

6.  Although not credited Rob Leon did play some bass during the concert while Lance played percussion.  Paul Branin was also a big asset to this version of the band.  (Lance)

7.  Lane Hoppen made a cameo appearance on the song Love Takes Time.  (Lance)
