Orleans History & Interesting Facts
(ok lots to talk about here)

1. Between 1991 - 1995, I'm not sure much was going on in the U.S. with Orleans, but a lot was happening in Japan. They released "Orleans Live" in 1991, did 2 successful tours which were recorded and released on laserdisc, and then followed that up with the Japan only CD "Analog Men."

2.  The lineup of Larry, Lance, John, Bob Leinbach and Peter O'brien has remained consistent since at least 1988 and would remain so thru 2000 until they became part time members thru 2004.

2. In my opinion this is the most group oriented CD in the entire Orleans catalog, as far as, writing and vocals. Several of the songs are written by Larry, Lance, John and Bob, as a unit, and all participate in the vocals.

3. It's a must have CD for fans of Bob Leinbach, and for fans of Orleans in general.

4. The CD's original idea for a title was "Outstanding In its Field." (Larry)

5.  With this album Lance begins to take a more active role in song writing and singing, which continues to this day.  It's the first album since "One Of A Kind" to have a song with Lance as a writer and it's his strongest vocal presence since the "Orleans" LP in 1980.

Rare performance of Lance singing the song "Serenity".
