Larry Hoppen and Dave "Doc" Robinson reunite on stage for Dancin' In The Moonlight, which was written by Sherman Kelly. Larry, Doc, and Sherman were all members of the band Boffalongo, and the first to record the future hit "Dancin' In The Moonlight". This version of the song was sung by Sherman Kelly, and appears on the Boffalongo LP "Beyond Your Head". A few years later Doc and Sherman would record the song with their band King Harvest. It's the King Harvest version of the song that went on to be the hit that everyone recognizes. This recording was sung by Doc Robinson. 3. A DVD of the show was also issued in 2010, and includes the same songs. As of this writing there are still a few DVD's available at OrleansOnline the official Orleans website, and can be purchased as CD/DVD combo. 4. Fly Amero, sings Golden Slumbers, and does a great acoustic version of the song. |
