Orleans History & Interesting Facts

1. Orleans is back to the trio of John Hall, Larry Hoppen, and Lance Hoppen and drums by Peter O'Brien, Eric Parker, and two cuts by Brian Doherty.

2. "Ride" includes 3 songs from the "Analog Men" CD which are: Analog Man, Love's Not Just For Other People, and Heaven.  The song Heaven being re-recorded in a different key.  (Lance)

3. Plastic Money was originally from a John Hall solo project redone with Orleans.

4. The Japanese version of the CD included the bonus track Sails, which was originally from the "Waking and Dreaming" LP.  The version of the song that appears on "Ride" has been re-mastered.

5.  A very strong follow-up to the "Analog Men" CD.  It also includes the first cover song since the "One Of A Kind" LP.

6.  The song I'm On Your Side did receive some airplay and may have been the first song since Love Takes Time to do so.  Unfortunately Dinosaur Entertainment went bankrupt which may have affected the airplay of the song.  It certainly made the CD more difficult to find.
